Wide, No, Free-hit Rules

o If the ball pitches twice before the stumps it will be considered dead ball.

o Wide and No balls will NOT be rebowled except last over. No-balls and wide will constitute TWO additional runs.

o Anything on the leg side is wide even when very close to the stumps.

o A No-Ball will be called for the following.

o Over stepping - when the bowler’s front leg COMPLETELY crosses front/side crease line.

o For Height - full toss above waist or over-the-shoulder after pitching. No one-bouncer rule.

o No Guard mentioned.

o Invalid bowling action.

o Violating fielding restriction (Max 4 fielders on leg side boundary).

o After every No Ball due to OVER STEPPING a free hit is allowed. Batsmen cannot be dismissed during a free hit except for run-out or stumping.

o Free hit ball will be counted following normal rules.

o Wide or No-Ball bowled during the free hit will still be counted as one valid ball except in last over. But Free Hit prevails for the next ball either bowled in the same over or next over. If a No-Ball is bowled in the last ball of an over, the first ball of the next over will be a free hit.

o In the last over the wide and no-ball will be not counted and constitute 1 run.

Choosing the winner of the match?

The "Net Runs" scored will be tallied for each team. The team with highest Net Runs wins. [Refer Tie Breaking Rules, in case of Tie]

Net Runs = Total Runs scored + Bonus runs for not losing wicket + Bonus runs for fielding – Total runs deducted for dismissals

Tie Breaking Rules

In the event of tie, team losing less number of wickets will be the winner. If the runs and the number of wickets are same then the result of the overs ONLY between the contending teams will decide the result. If there is further contention, then a rematch between/among the contending teams will be played. Each player of a team will bowl one “Super-Over” each for each opponent team.

Winner will be decided by the means of “Super-Over” following the rules mentioned below.

Only the teams involved in the tie-breaker will be having a super over [4 balls].

The team with maximum net runs wins. If not then maximum 6’s, else 4’s.

The bowling team decides to pick any 2 players from the pool. So only 3 fielders in super over.
